2WO+1NE=2

Established in 2016 by designers Valisia Gkotsi and Stella Panagopoulou, 2WO+1NE=2 is rooted in the idea of nomadism. Each collection draws inspiration from a different city around the world — influences that permeate both design and construction. The featured piece, The Deadfall Dress, is part of the Denver, Colorado collection for Autumn/Winter 2022–2023. Its sleeves, slit and embellished with integrated appliqué pieces, evoke the fins emerging from a dinosaur’s back. The pattern is hand-drawn on Kraft paper and composed of twenty irregularly shaped pieces of varying sizes.
