Angelos Bratis

Presenting his collections in Greece and abroad since 2005, Angelos Bratis is renowned for his mastery of bias cutting, draping, and for his inventive use of a single piece of fabric folded, tied, and wrapped to embrace the silhouette. The dress shown here is from his Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The original pattern was developed directly on the mannequin using the moulage technique, then digitized and printed on paper — an exact replica of the initial design, complete with construction markings and annotations.
