Born in Alexandroupoli, Angelos Tsakiris studied Fashion Design in Athens. In 2017, two years before establishing his own atelier, he presented a small-scale collection inspired by the works of Spanish painter Joan Miró — from which this collector’s dress originates. Made entirely of hand-treated, hand-painted silk taffeta, the piece was produced through a meticulous process to soften the fabric’s texture. The silk was laid out on long tables, the design outlined in pencil, and two to three layers of paint applied. Once dried and ironed, the individual pieces were assembled to form the final garment.
