Sophie Deloudi

A graduate of the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Sophie Deloudi transitioned to fashion design after two decades in interior design, launching her first women’s swimwear collection in the summer of 2014. The one-piece swimsuit featured here is from the Summer 2018 collection, inspired by the markings and floor lines of airport terminals. With its minimal form, precise fit, and refined finishing, it encapsulates the brand’s aesthetic identity. Made of matte European polyamide Lycra, the swimsuit’s three-piece pattern was developed through iterative sampling, refinement, and final prototyping, and traced on cardboard.
