CONTEMPORARY GREEK FASHION IN DETAIL

Digital archive of garments and patterns.

Contemporary Greek Fashion in Detail is a digital archival initiative devoted to contemporary Greek fashion. Drawing on primary material from the designers’ own private collections, it seeks to preserve and reveal the creative process behind garment making. The archive features twelve designers, design teams, and artistic collectives based in Greece, each represented through a selected garment or accessory accompanied by related documentation — sketches, photographs, and publications. At its core lie the garment patterns, underscoring their central role in both the conception and the realization of each piece.

Through its digital platform, visitors can explore the garments in high-resolution detail, access extensive contextual information, and download the full-scale patterns for study and educational use.
