Yiorgos Eleftheriades

A leading figure in contemporary Greek fashion since establishing his eponymous label in 1992, Yiorgos Eleftheriades is known for his ability to balance structure and fluidity within a single silhouette. The black leather jacket from the Autumn/Winter 2017–2018 collection exemplifies his refined yet dynamic design language. It features a double-breasted closure with a deep shawl collar, a fitted bodice that accentuates the waist, and structured shoulders that enhance its geometric form. A back panel extending from the shoulder blades creates a cape-like effect, adding volume and movement. Zippers on the sleeves allow for adjustable fit — either revealing additional fabric when open or maintaining a streamlined look when closed. The pattern, drawn on Kraft paper, consists of precisely cut pieces that define the jacket’s signature shape.
